Players must play from the same tees throughout the contest.
Players under the age of 65 years shall tee-up on the White tees.
Players 65 years to 74 years have option to tee-up on the White or Black tees.
Players 75 years or older have the options to tee-up on the White, Black, or Red Tees.

Appendix 1, Part A Rule 4.b. "...the Committee may decide to grant relief by temporary Local Rule either to protect the course or to promote fair and pleasant play."

CRS Local Rule 13a: In his own fairway a player may lift, clean, and place his ball within one club length no nearer the hole without penalty.
Rule 13-4. Ball in Hazard Prohibited Actions
CRS Local Rule 13b: In a hazard a Player may take relief from conditions caused by any burrowing animal(s) within one club length no nearer the hole without penalty.
CRS Local Rule 13c: A Player may drop a club(s) in a hazard without penalty. A Player cannot change or improve his lie, swing, or stance as a result of dropping his club(s).
CRS Local Rule 13d: In a sand bunker, if the ball comes to rest in a depression that is inconsistent with a properly maintained bunker, with concurrence of a competitor, the ball may be placed at the nearest relief within the bunker without penalty.
CRS Local Rule 13e: A Player may drop a rake in a sand bunker before
attempting to hit his ball from a lie within the bunker without penalty. A Player may not rake or test any portion of
the bunker prior to attempting to hit his ball.
Rule 16-1.a. Touching the Line of PuttCRS Local Rule 16a: This rule is waived.
CRS Local Rule 16b: If the line of putt crosses an area of the green that is significantly different (damaged or diseased) from the general condition of the green, with the concurrence of a competitor, a Player may move his ball to a lie no nearer the hole with full relief of the damaged or diseased area without penalty.
Rule 25-2 Embedded Ball
CRS Local Rule 25a: A ball embedded in its own pitch-mark in the ground in any area of the golf course except hazards may be lifted, cleaned and dropped, without penalty, as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole.

ReplyDeleteThis does NOT mean you can move the ball FORWARD--even an inch. You can NEVER move the ball closer to the hole, legally.
Hey, guys! If you don't have a handicap flag on your cart, you are NOT supposed to get any closer that 50 feet from a green!!! Some of you are driving up to 10-15 feet from the green!!! NOT RIGHT!!! Please help preserve the quality of OUR golf course, by staying on the cart path, whenever possible!
